Midjourney finally has some fierce competition with Dall-E 3
And what's the big deal with Generative AI anyhow?

So the big news coming out today is Dall-E 3.
Open AI, the makers of Chat-GPT also has an image generator and they are gunning for Midjourney, which is currently the market leader in the field of generative AI art.
Modern text-to-image systems have a tendency to ignore words or descriptions, forcing users to learn prompt engineering. DALL·E 3 represents a leap forward in our ability to generate images that exactly adhere to the text you provide. - OpenAI
So the main point to grasp is that OpenAI is aiming to make Dall-E more accessible and easy to use for the layman - compared with Midjourney’s prompting experience.
(Not to mention that older people struggle with Discord.🙈)
It’s clear that OpenAI sees a gap where they can make headway in the market dominance of AI image generation - simply from create a better prompting experience. And they already have the userbase built with the super-quick launch of ChatGPT with over a 100 Million users.
On Wednesday, OpenAI announced DALL-E 3, the latest version of its AI image-synthesis model that features full integration with ChatGPT.
Currently in research preview, it will be available to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise customers in early October.
It's likely DALL-E 3 follows this same formula, but with new training techniques and more computational training time.
While OpenAI's examples have been cherry-picked for their effectiveness, they appear to follow the prompt instructions faithfully and convincingly render objects with minimal deformations versus existing models.
For example, a prompt that included the words, "An illustration of an avocado sitting in a therapist's chair, saying 'I feel so empty inside' with a pit-sized hole in its center," created a cartoon avocado with the character quote perfectly encapsulated in a speech bubble.
Notably, OpenAI says that DALL-E 3 has been "built natively" on ChatGPT and will arrive as an integrated feature of ChatGPT Plus, allowing conversational refinements to images in a way that will use the AI assistant as a brainstorming partner.
This will assist new users who are already familiar with the ChatGPT experience and feel more comfortable with that than navigating the world of Discord
They also will allow artists to opt-out of training, which should help with the potential copyright issues that will arise in the future.
Microsoft Doubles Down on Generative AI
Microsoft (MSFT) is going all in on generative AI with the debut of its new Copilot platform.
You can then use the app to summarize your email and search for information in it.
Like the consumer version of Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot pulls in your enterprise data to help you do things like craft emails, plan events, and more.
Surface hardware In addition to Copilot, Microsoft announced two new laptops, its Surface Laptop Go 3 and the Surface Laptop Studio 2.
By the way, what’s the difference between Generative AI and Traditional AI?
The Difference Between Generative AI And Traditional AI: An Easy Explanation For Anyone
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been a buzzword across sectors for the last decade, leading to significant advancements in technology and operational efficiencies.
These systems have the capability to learn from data and make decisions or predictions based on that data.
This is a basic example of Generative AI.
It's like an imaginative friend who can come up with original, creative content.
Traditional AI systems are primarily used to analyze data and make predictions, while generative AI goes a step further by creating new data similar to its training data.
Both generative AI and traditional AI have significant roles to play in shaping our future, each unlocking unique possibilities.
New AI Tool:
Tugan.ai is a new AI tool that uses artificial intelligence to generate marketing emails, newsletters, and social media content in seconds. It is designed to create promotional and educational content that captures attention, is read, and generates sales. You can enter a URL or a topic and Tugan.ai will produce different variations of content for you to choose from.
Tugan.ai claims to be able to say goodbye to your copywriter and ghostwriter.
It actually looks like a KILLER tool to re-purpose content from different formats.

How to use ChatGPT-4 without a subscription
While ChatGPT-3.5 is free to use without a subscription, the vastly improved (especially in terms of written language) ChatGPT-4 requires a subscription.
There are two ways you can use this without a subscription.
The first is by plugging into the API. While there is a small cost for the API, for non-power users, it may make sense to use it and get billed a small amount for useage. I do this on one of my sites which is running a product called AI Wise Mind.
The project is running a small profit and building an email list with Convertkit.
The second way is specifically for writing. Hostinger has integrated ChatGPT-4 into their “AI Assistant” plugin for Wordpress. So you can, as a customer, use this to write with the much improved ChatGPT-4.
